Senior/Principal Consultants (Nuclear) ? Nationwide £Neg

Senior/Principal Nuclear Consultants. Senior/Principal Consultants with at least 5 years risk assessment experience in the Nuclear Industry.

Duties:

· Perform work requiring a wide application of scientific and engineering principles and techniques
· Work with and assist higher grade consultants on projects
· Provide Technical advice and guidance to lower grade consultants
· Have a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation on Health and Safety and Environmental Protection and its application to particular industry sectors or of a specialised subject
· Provide general management support to a group
· Manage projects and take responsibility for ensuring client satisfaction
· Carry out marketing visits and presentations to clients
· Scope and prepare proposals


Requirements:

· Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional status is preferred.
· A minimum of five-seven years related and relevant work experience.
· Ability to perform complex scientific and technical calculations and apply scientific and engineering principles, theories and concepts.
· Creativity, foresight and mature science and engineering judgement in anticipating and solving problems.
· Extensive knowledge of scientific and engineering principles, theories and concepts and their applications to problem solving.
· A working knowledge of computer applications and codes.
· A good, up to date understanding of the relevant legislation on Health and Safety and Environmental Protection and its application to particular industry sectors or of a specialised subject and its application.
· A good working knowledge of Company operating policies and procedures.
· A good working knowledge of the Company Quality and Security Management Systems
· A good working knowledge of particular industry sectors. 
· A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an engineering, science or related field of study. A post graduate qualification is desirable.
· Equivalent successful work experience or equivalent technical qualifications may be substituted for the education required.
