Graduate Software Engineer

A great opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about software development, with experience in C and Java. 

Key duties include: 
- Working on high visibility, customer facing systems and challenging projects;
- Designing and programming efficient high traffic systems; 
- Working on the optimization of our web systems; 
- Maintaining and improving existing websites and databases.

What we are looking for:
- Good A levels , preferably in Maths, Physics, IT 
- 2:1 in Computer Science or a numeric discipline.
- Good programming skills in Java 
- Being keen to learn and use your initiative to drive forward challenging projects to a successful outcome; 
- Highly motivated, with quick mind and ability to provide robust solutions under pressure.

Also useful: 
- Good knowledge of HTML & CSS; 
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux; 
- Experience in programming using databases e.g. MySQL; 
- An interest in computer games or RPGs.
