Sensory Technician ? Reading

My client, a leading global quality assurance company, requires an individual with an interest and experience in food or catering, holding a Food Related Science Degree. The role assists a senior position in evaluating various produce.

Requirements: -

· Experience in product cutting and food testing, and evaluation skills are important.
· Ability to commute between the two main sites, therefore a driving license is desired.
· A team orientated attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of a language, Spanish, German or Italian, is a plus yet not a pre-requisite.

The successful candidate will be held responsible for the life cycle of projects ensuring they coincide with Standard Operating Procedures and the client?s expectations. Complete evaluation will then be required for each test and results reported in full, testing involves the tasting of products (not consumption) subject to the evaluation. Performances of additional duties include the maintenance of laboratory equipment, organisation of projects; logging information as appropriate and safety checks.
